Maharashtra Governor Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari felicitated Janab Aziz Ahmed Makki to mark his 50 years Social and Community Services.
The Function was presided by Zaheer Kazi, President, Anjuman Islam..

While adressing the audience Zaheer Kazi said, that Governor Saheb is endowed with a vast experience in politics. When I first met him he was very humble , polite and good by nature. talking about Anjuman Islam and it’s historical importance Mr. Kazi said, “Infact Bollywood Thespian Dilip Kumar received education from here. Anjuman Islam is a symbol of Secularism and an Institution by itself .Aziz Makki Sahab is a former student of Anjuman Islam who had dedicated his life for the development of P.T Mane Garden which rose to be the Symbol of good , Makki Sahab is blessed with two daughters- while one daughter is Engineer in USA the other one is a Surgeon in Delhi. Makki Sahab had given good education to his daughters”.

Congress MP Husain Dalwai, during his speech appealed to Maharashtra Governor to Visit P.T Mane Garden and said “I appreciate the Governor for his simplicity and good humane qualities.. “I once again congratulate Aziz Makki who has spent 50 years in Social work and to the Governor Sahab for having attended this Felicitation Programme.

While adressing the audience Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari Governor Of Maharashtra said , ” I am thankful for inviting me here. All the Speakers talked very much about Aziz Makki.
” I felt extremely pleasant when I entered Anjuman Islam Institutions and I congratulate Aziz Bhai. When once I get a chance will definitely visit P.T Mane Garden and enjoy the company. You are doing a good task “.
Positive work is of prime importance in Society. Women in our society play very important role and time has come to do something for them.My appreciation also goes to Makki Sahab for giving a good education to both of his daughters .Thanks once again fo all who invited me here”.

The other dignitaries who were attended this felicitation function among them were Mr. Shabaz Siddiqui, Saeed Khan, Munir Khan, Arashad Siddiqui, Maulana Athar Dahelvi, Senior Journalist Ejaz Ansari, Imtiaz Ahmed, Shivsena MLA Yamini Jadhav and many more from Educational and Political circles.
