World Health Organisation (WHO) on Wednesday declared the corona-virus outbreak a pandemic and expressed deep concern both by the alarming levels of spread and severity and by the alarming levels of inaction.
The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases across India, including foreign nationals, has gone up to 73 cases including a foreigner, according to the latest data provided by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
In the meeting CM has urged people who had travelled abroad recently to stay indoors for a fortnight. All government functions, gatherings stands cancelled in the state.
The state government has asked all the travel operators across all the cities of Maharashtra to provide list of tourists who had travelled abroad with them. Those who are arriving from seven countries like China, Iran, Italy, South Korea, France, Spain and Germany are asked to stay indoors for 15 days compulsorily.
