Mumbai Aditya Thackeray’s night life policy – 24×7 open of malls, shops, Multiplexes and restaurants not favoured by several Mumbaikars and opposition parties

Mumbai 24×7 open of malls, restaurants, multiplexes etc in non+ residential areas allowed by Aditya Thackeray and Anil Deshmukh and which comes into force from today, 27th January 2020, has not gone down well with several Mumbaikars. It is feared that this move will certainly kill the nightlife in Mumbai as it goes against Indian culture and likely in increase of crime against women and there will be several Nirbhaya cases. This move will also prove an advantage to the anti- social elements and or the taporis who will take full advantage of this.

Moreover it is also the fear of common Mumbaikars. As it is women are unsafe in Mumbai.

If the Maharashtra Tourism Minister who is the prime mover behind the nightlife project feels it will be a boost, he is sadly mistaken. As it is the metropolitan city and the financial capital is gripped in fear with molestation, flesh trade and murder already rampant in Mumbai. This 24×7 move will certainly lead to increase in crime.

All said the night life policy – 24×7 open of Restaurants, Shops, Malls, Multiplexes will doom the city. Anti-social elements are sure to hold the city to ransom.

Better that Aditya Thackeray and Anil Deshmukh give a second thought for the 24×7 move.
