Massive sucess for Mumbai police In Ghatkopar Hoarding Collapse case Jhanvi Marathe former Director of Ego Media Pvt ltd and civil contractor Sagar Kumbhar have been arrested from Goa on Saturday.
SIT of the city Crime Branch arrested both accused from a Hotel in Goa. Earlier Mumbai Session Court rejected both Accused’ s ABA after this Mumbai Crime Branch laid a trap and nabbed them from Goa hotel.
Both Accused will be produced today before holiday court.
Jhanvi Marathe denied her role had tried to shirk the responsibility by claiming that she has resigned in December in 2023 from the company but court rejected her plea.
It may be noted in Ghatkopar Hoarding crash case 17 people were killed and more than 80 injured. After this CM Eknath Shinde took this matter seriously and ordered to set up a Special Investigation Team to probe. After this many accused were arrested in this connection including BMC officers and more than 15 illegal hoardings removed across Mumbai.
