The Metropolitan City has been witnessing rise in technology related cases and to curb it, the Mumbai police was gifted with 94
new Cyber Cell Centres today on the occasion of the 72nd Republic Day.

On this special occasion, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray inaugurated all the 94 Cyber Cell Online.

Present at the occasion were Home Minister Anil Deshmukh, Aditya Thackeray, Aslam Shaikh, MLA, Satej Patel, MP, Arvind Sawant, MLA Mangal Prabhat Loda ,Ashish Kumar Singh, Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh and others. Prime purpose of these Cyber Cells is to control the rising Cyber Crime in the city.
