Holiest festival Ganesh Chaturthi  began on Saturday in Mumbai and across Maharashtra. Mumbai Police beefed up security in view of this 10 days festival.
Around 15,000 police personals including 32 deputy police Commissioners, 45 Assistant Police Commissioners have been deployed across Mumbai city during this days Ganeshotsav.

As per Mumbai Police Source, 2,435,Police officers, 12, 420 Constables,Rapid Action Force, Riot Control Police, Delta Combat, and Home Guards have been deployed.
A part from this all CCTV Cameras will be installed at Major Ganesh pandals. All situation will be monitor by Drone Cameras and CCTV.

All DCPS, Additional Police Commissioners, Traffic Department have been asked to be alert during this 10 day Celebration.
