Meanwhile, Sameer Wankhede submitted relevant documents to the ACP and recorded his statement in detail.

As per High Court, Sameer Wankhede is a public officer and his actions can be examined by anyone.

However, according to Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik he alleges that Wankhede’s father had converted to Islam, but Wankhede got government job under the Scheduled Caste quota which a Muslim person cannot get.
