Mumbai: Thane Vartak Nagar Police arrests 21 year old Sahil Kasber Augustine for consuming narcotic drugs

Mumbai: The menace of drug addiction has spread fast among the youth of India. Ironically, Mumbai has emerged as a happy hunting ground for the drug peddlers.

On Sunday night a 21-year-old youth, Sahil Kasber Augustine,
son of Activist Kasber Augustine was picked up from a garden while sitting on a bench and consuming Narcotic Drugs by Vartak Nagar, Thane City for consuming drugs, according to Vartak Nagar Police Station Officials.

Some more associcates of the accused will be questioned by local police.

Several complaints have been made to the police by individuals and social activists. Unfortunately, despite it, the menace continues rampantly among the youths particularly.

As per police officials they have arrested him under Narcotic, Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
