Mumbai Traffic Police permanently bans two wheelers and Autos on BKC Connector to curb accidents

In a bid to curb accidents the Mumbai Traffic Police has permanently banned two-wheelers and Autos on the
BKC Connector that links the business district of Bandra Kurla Complex with the Sion-Panvel Highway.

This new rule has been initiated by the Mumbai Traffic Police on receiving complaints from the complex about rash driving by two wheelers and Autos..

This new rule has not gone down well with Two-wheeler users who have termed the decision unfortunate and wondered if Mumbai’s flyovers are meant only for cars. The 1.6-km elevated road was inaugurated in November 2019.
