MUMBAI, INDIA — Mumbai Utkal English High School, a prominent educational institution managed by the Bombay Utkal Samiti, hosted its highly anticipated Topper Felicitation Ceremony 2026. The grand event, which served as a collaboration for the Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat was jointly organised by Sufi Islamic Board and Mumbai Utkal Samiti , was organized to celebrate the exceptional academic excellence, dedication, to outstanding achievements of toppers of HSC / SSC from 50 schools in Mumbai .The event took place on 27 June, 2026, at 03:00 PM on the school premises located at Shri Shri Krushna Chandra Gajapati Marg, L.B.S. Road, Naupada, Kurla (West), Mumbai. The event was collaborated with My Bharat an initiative of Ministry of Youth and Sports, Government of India to make Bharat a drugs free nation by the year 2047.
The ceremony was graced by IRS officer Sameer Wankhede who serves as an Additional Commissioner in the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, Sufi Mansoor Khan, National President of the Sufi Islamic Board, Sohail Khandwani the managing trustee of Mahim Dargah and Haji Ali Dargah, Mohammed Ibrahim Baloch, known as Mehul Kumar a prominent film writer and producer and many other dignitaries of Mumbai and Odisha.
Addressing the gathering, All those who attended as the Honourable and esteemed guests offered words of encouragement, noting that acknowledging young achievers serves as a vital pillar in inspiring future generations toward positive community building and academic focus.
Bfore the culmination of the event a Nasha Mukti pledge was taken by the students which was administered by Sufi Mansoor Khan after which slogan of Bhartiyata Zindabad echoed the Premises.
