Soon after hearing the sad demise of Legendary Actor Dilip Kumar today morning, Wednesday, 7 July after a prolonged illness, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray accompanied by his son Aditya Thackeray, visited the Bandra residence of the actor to offer their profound condolences over the demise of Dilip Kumar. He consoled Saira Banu and advised her to be brave and bear the irreperable loss with courage and not to brood over it. May Almighty God grant peace to the noble departed soul.

NCP Chief Sharad Pawar along with Minority Minister Nawab Malik also visited Dilip Kumar’s Bandra Bungalow and met Saira Bano. 

She was inconsolable.
