In the wake of unprecedented rise in the Covid-19 cases, the Maharashtra Government on Tuesday issued fresh curbs.
The state government said that all groceries, vegetable shops, fruit vendors, dairies will open for only four hours from 7 am to 11 am throughout the state.
According to the government the order would also be applicable to bakeries, confectionaries, all type of food shops, shops related to farm produce, pet food shops, shops related to materials for impending rainy season for individuals/organisations to be open only between 7 am to 11 am.
The home delivery will be allowed between 7 am and 8 pm. The government has further implied that the local authorities can change the timings of the home delivery.
The order will remain in force from tonight till 7 am on May 1.
Maharashtra on Monday witnessed a dip in its daily count by recording 58,924 fresh infections and 351 deaths, the state health department said. The overall case tally in Maharashtra now stands at 38,98,262 while the toll is 60,824, it said.
The state is now left with 6,76,520 active cases. Of the 351 fatalities, 220 were from the last 48 hours and 85 from the last week.

8) Sale of petrol/diesel/CNG/LPG gas for private vehicles at petrol pump from 7 am to 11 am
9) Diesel sale at petrol pumps for public transport, essential services/freight traffic as per regular time
These things should be followed by the people.
* Hotels, restaurants, bars will be prohibited from providing pickup services, but home delivery will continue.
* Religious places will remain completely closed.
* Markets will remain completely closed for weeks.
* Vegetable/fruit markets will remain closed only for distribution of vegetables.
* Liquor shops will remain completely closed.
* Taxis, cabs, rickshaws will continue only for excessive service.
* Four wheelers will be allowed to be used only for excessive service.
* Only two wheelers will be allowed to be used for excessive service.
* All private offices will remain completely closed.
* Cutting salons, spas, beauty parlours will be completely closed.
* Educational institutions, all private tuition classes will remain completely closed.
* Stadiums, grounds will be completely closed.
* Marriage ceremonies will be banned.
* Tea shops will remain completely closed.
* All types of shops will remain completely closed except for excessive services.
* Cinema halls, theatres, halls, museums will be completely closed.
* All social, political, cultural, religious and sports events will be completely closed.
* All types of private constructions will be completely closed.
* Setu e-Seva Kendra, Aadhaar Centre will remain completely closed.
* Gyms, swimming pools, morning/evening walks in public places will be completely closed.
