We buy flat in High rising buildings only for safety and Security, but this is not true our belief fails here yes why we are talking  about this because, recently House breaking and attempt to theft incident  which occurred  at  ‘Runawal Symphony ‘ at Vakola Nehru road Santacruz East which is now no safe for the residents.
Shamim Ansari a state broker who is residing  in the same building ,Flat No 102,B wing can’t  forget the scary night of 6 March when early in the morning around at 4 am , Robbers  entered his flat via Balcony and tried  House breaking suddenly Shamim Ansari woke up and screamed ,hearing his shouts they immediately fled from the crime Scene, Mr .Ansari called 100 no .Police rushed to the spot and did Panchnama.on 17 March Vakola Police registered an FIR against unknown persons under section 511,457 and 380 IPC.

Two months have been passed but still vakola police is unable to trace the criminal.
Speaking with ‘Hello Mumbai News ‘ Shamim Ansari said , ” I am upset after this incident. My family is leaving in fear there is no security and safety in this building ,Our Society people is not serious about our Safety .there is no CCTV Cameras at this Balcony, So many times I requested them to install CCTV camera in Balcony area but they are not ready to listen me. I have provided them CCTV footage of the incident.Even they are not allowing me to take safety measure and put Grill at Balcony side .This incident happened because of their negligence and they  are wholly responsible, infact Vakola Police Should file FIR against society, ”
Mr Ansari further said , I have made so many request to society people to install Grill at Balcony but they are not allowing me even two months have gone they didn’t bother to call meeting it means they are not concerned about our Safety, I have filed a defamation Complaint against Nisheet Tripathy (Chairman ‘Runwal Symphony Co -Oprative Housing Society ) Ms Cheryl Rozario, Deepak Dhamejani and jay Singh at Vakola Police Station .Very soon I will move to High Court and will file Defamation Case against the Society .
After this incident the tenants of this high rise building are leaving in continuous  fear particularly Shamim Ansari ‘s Family.They have  not come out from this tragic incident they are still in depression.
When ‘Hello Mumbai Contacted to all Committee Members of “Runawal Symphony” Ms Cheryl Rozario and Nishat Tripathy they denied to comment and told us to contact Society Office.
Speaking on Phone ,Vakola Police senior Inspector Mr Awhad said, ” This incident happened in society premises it’s society’s duty to maintain security and safety , Our investigation is underway very soon accused will be arrested .If possible we will summoned to Society people and will ask them about their security arrangement in the Building.”
