Pen & Stationery Association of India (PSAI)

The Pen & Stationery Association of India (PSAI) proudly celebrated its 59th Foundation Day on Monday, 22nd June 2026, at Golden Leaf Banquet, Link Road, Malad (West), Mumbai. The event brought together leading manufacturers, distributors, traders, industry veterans, professionals, and distinguished guests from the stationery and allied sectors to commemorate nearly six decades of dedicated service to the industry.

The celebration commenced with fellowship and registration, providing members and guests an excellent opportunity to network and strengthen industry relationships. The formal programme began with a warm welcome by the office bearers and Managing Committee members of the Association.

    Seminar on New Labour Code

Advocates Ms. Kalyani Mangave , Ms. Kaamini Suhas and Shri Saswata Banerjee conducted an enlightening seminar on the New Labour Code, providing valuable guidance on recent labour law reforms, employer obligations, compliance requirements, and their practical implications for businesses.

  1. GeM – A Growing Opportunity for the Stationery Sector

Ms. Mitisha Hemani delivered an informative presentation on “GeM – A Growing Opportunity for the Stationery Sector.” She highlighted the immense business potential available through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) platform and explained how stationery manufacturers, suppliers, and traders can leverage government procurement opportunities. The session emphasized that the stationery category on GeM represents annual procurement opportunities exceeding ₹10,500 lakh (approximately ₹100 crore), encouraging members to actively participate in government tenders and expand their business reach.

  1. Safety at Workplace Compliance (POSH & Organisation Safety Act)

Dr. Raina Khatri Tandon, Founder & CEO of Right2Rise, addressed the gathering on “Safety at Workplace Compliance (POSH & Organisation Safety Act).” Her session provided practical insights into workplace safety, prevention of sexual harassment, legal compliance requirements, and the importance of creating safe, respectful, and inclusive work environments.

Young Entrepreneur Excellence Award 2026

One of the highlights of the evening was the presentation of the Young Entrepreneur Excellence Award 2026, recognizing emerging leaders and innovators who are making significant contributions to the stationery industry through entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership, and business excellence.
