People demand Ibrahim Bhaijan as Congress candidate from North Central Constituency :
After Ex MP Priya Dutt’s denial to contest Lok Sabha Election there are wide speculations about the candidate to be selected from North Central Consistency by the Congress Party. There is a hoard of new faces like Arif Naseem Khan, Actress Nagma and the veterans in politics like Kripa Shankar Singh and Raj Babar demanding Congress ticket from North Central Constituency.
However political experts feel that the most likable and winning candidate form this constituency can be the most renowned and experienced politician Ibrahim Bhaijan, who has already contested MP election on BSP ticket and got above 60,000 votes in 2009. Besides being a seasoned politician, the highpoint of Ibrahim Bhaijan is that he is a favorite of the people in the constituency which is densely minority dominated.
Ibrahim Bhaijan doesn’t need any introduction in Indian politics particularly in Mumbai and Maharashtra as he is Vice President in Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee and Also Member of Central Haj Committee. He is very active Politician. Applauding Ibrahim Bhaijan, a well know social activists, From Daulat Nagar, Santacruz West Mastan Inamdaar told Hello Mumbai, “I know Ibrahim Bhaijan since 2000, he is a very dedicated and hardworking leader. He has mass appeal and is regarded as the ‘Leader of the People’. He has proved his potential as Chairman of Haj Committee in Maharashtra. He has vast experience in politics and deserves to be contested from North Central Constituency on Congress Party ticket.”
Sachin Virendra Singh, Media professional from Vile Parle too appreciated Ibrahim Bhaijan. He told Hello Mumbai, “Ibrahim Bhaijan is a secular face among the people, all community people like him. He has a helpful nature and is famous for his interaction with the people of his constituency hence people like him. He is surely a winning candidate from North Central Constituency.
