Mumbaikars Beware, next time when a courier boy knocks your door be vigilant and alert as he can be a burglar in the guise of a courier boy! Don’t believe? Well, read this sorrowful tale of a Khar resident!!
In a daring incident of robbery, a gang of robbers entered a house posing as ‘courier boys ‘ and later forcibly entered the house and escaped with 70 lacs jewellery and cash.
According to Khar police station, the thieves robbed a family at knifepoint staying at Govind Bhavan Bhumi in Khar west and escaped with the booty.
The Khar police station and Bandra Crime Branch have set up a team to investigate the case. Police have also detained some suspected accused and is investigating the case. Meanwhile, the police are still hunting the prime suspect.
