In the 1st Outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic’, Rotary Club ensured
Its helping hand in distribution .If essential items to the needy and poor.
Amid this Covid-19 2nd Wave pandemic, everyone is going through dilemmas and the Rotary Club are trying to minimise it
Needless to mention Rotary Club have accomplished numerous significant social projects in providing food and many other areas of endeavor.
In the midst of this Pandemic, they are providing benefits to the needy ones.
Even in the 1st Wave of the pandemic Rotary Club have risen to the grim situation and dustributed essential items to the needy and poor.

Brief Introduction of Club :

Rotary has been supporting various causes including Education, Peace, Medical projects, Environmental projects, projects for Women Empowerment, projects for Children in need, Differently Abled and many more.The need for associations like Rotary is more than ever before! During the Covid crisis, Rotary in Mumbai alone has done work of over Rs. 100 crores to assist those in need. Under the Flagship of Rotary International, the Rotary District 3141 and our Rotary Club of Bombay Hills South has been doing some exceptional humanitarian work to serve the Community in Maharashtra.

In addition to our flagship project of Pali Eye Hospital for the Cataract & other Eye Surgeries, Rotary Club of Bombay Hills South has successfully raised funds for and completed various community projects over the years. Some of these include:

Pediatric surgeries & treatments at the Wadia Hospital for Children.
Annapurna Project that involved Serving Meals to those in Need.
Aashiyana ‘Housing’ Project for the underprivileged in Wada District.
Primary, Secondary & Higher Education for the Children in Need.
Installation of Water Filters & Coolers for Clean & Hygiene Water in the Village & Schools.
Community Service of providing Meals & Monthly Groceries at the Homes for Elderly & Destitutes.
Annual Sponsorship & Other Facilities for the Children with Special Needs at the Society of Education for the Challenged.
