Russian cosmonaut Denis Matveev and Igor Koreshev, Head of the International Coordination Department at the Cosmonaut Training Center, visited Mumbai.
During the visit, which was supported by the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in India and the Russian House in Mumbai, they met with the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Mumbai, Prof. Ravindra D.Kulkarni and students of this prestigious institution, and also held a question-and-answer session at the Nehru Planetarium.
The cosmonaut shared his personal impressions of his flight and spoke about various aspects of cosmonauts’ work, from daily routines in orbit, nutrition and rest, to issues of psychological and physical preparation for long-term flights and the skills necessary to stay in space.
Denis Matveev is a hero of Russia, a pilot-cosmonaut of the Russian Federation. He was in space from March 18 to September 29, 2022. The duration of his flight was more than 194 days. He performed four spacewalks, the total duration of work in outer space was more than 26 hours.

While Speaking with Hello Mumbai News Mr Denis Mathew expressed his View,” It was great experience sharing My Space Mission journey with Indian Students, India has a huge youth population and Indian youths are ambitious and had great potential in them,”.
Mr Denis Matveev further says, India and Russia has been enjoying strong bilateral relationship for the past Many decades in future Russia and India can work together in the field of Science and Technology India upcoming growing Nation I had a great experience in India. These interactions are expected to strengthen partnership in Science education, technical, Colllobration and Space outreach Programs.
Such kind of Discussion Meet will creat an opportunity between Russia and India in the field of Science and Technology which will help to promote a deeper understanding of sace exploration among future generations.
