Mumbai Based Community Ngo ‘Sagira Foundation ‘recently hosted a highly successful Awards and Networking Event at Islam Gymkhana in Mumbai. This prestigious gathering celebrated the achievements of individuals and Professionals across various industries those belong to Bihar and settled in Mumbai.
The main attraction of this Award Function it was attended by Intellectuals, Social Activists,Teachers,Lawyers and religious leaders from pune and Mumbai.
The primary objective of the event was to foster connections and support individuals within the Bihari Muslims Community
In a Media Interaction Mr Shahnawaz Shaikh Founder of Sagira Foundation explained, “We wanted to create a space where people could come together, share their experiences, and inspire each other, through this platform we want all Bihari Muslims stay in Mumbai but scattered we want to support them .”
Mr Shahnawaz further states, Sagira Foundation will start to work for innocent people those are behind bars for the past many years,he will set up a dedicated team of lawyers and legal Consultants for this Project.Sagira Foundation already working in Education, Medical and Social field in various parts of Mumbai such as Govandi,Kurla and South Mumbai.
Abrar Shaikh General Secretary of Sagira Foundation said,” it was great success our aim was to bring people under one roof so that everyone can know to each other and help each other.Our Bihari Muslim comes from poor background they don’t have proper support and guidance so our Sagira Foundation help them More than 400 Bihari Muslims attended this Award night and Get together”.
 Dr Badul Hasan Badar Convenor rof this Function said,” our Function got very huge response from our Community Members more than 60 Individuals, Professionals including Lawyers,Teachers, Social Activists, Doctor’s, Businessmen were honored and Facilitied with Trophy
This Get Together and Award Night was a resounding success, providing a valuable platform for professionals to connect, learn, and celebrate their achievements.The whole credit goes to our Sagira Foundation team they worked hard.”
Adv Yusuf Abrahani President Islam Gymkhana and Senior Congress leader also attended this Award night as a Chief Guest while addressing the audience he said,”. Bihar has given so many IAS and IPS to our Country Bihari Muslim Community has great potential in them very hard worker My support to Sagira Foundation will be continued in future also.”
