Qaidi Jagrukta Seminaar was held at Sabarmati Jail on 20 th September 2025 from 10.00 AM, arranged by Sufi Islamic Board in association with Mera Yuva Bharat – MY Bharat an initiative of Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India on the occasion of Sewa Pakhwada. Theme of the summit Nasha Mukti Yuva for Viksit Bharat

A seminar was organized at Ahmedabad Central Jail on 20/09/2025 at 09:00 AM in collaboration with the Sufi Islamic Board under the reformative welfare activities for inmates, focusing on a de-addiction campaign. The seminar was attended by DGP Dr. K.L.N. Rao, Head of Jails, Jail Superintendent Gaurav Agrawal, IPS, President of Sufi Islamic Board Gujarat Anwar hussain Sheikh, Gujarat High Court Panel Advocate Smt. Aman Sheikh, renowned columnist Hiren Kottack, National President of Sufi Islamic Board Mansoor Khan and Senior Advocate Arvind Pandya Saheb, along with jail officials/staff and a large number of inmates. In the said seminar, experts from the Sufi Islamic Board provided information on how harmful any kind of addiction is for the health of an individual, family, and society, and guidance on how to live an addiction-free life and become a healthy, strong, and responsible citizen. All inmates were administered an oath for de-addiction. Thereafter, Dr. K.L.N. Rao, DGP Saheb, provided information on commendable steps taken for the upliftment of inmates in the jail, including improvements in food, primary facilities, education, wages, and encouragement for children of inmates. It was also stated that various measures for the reform of inmates will be taken in the future as well.
