Abu Asim Azmi is thid time MLA from shivaji Nagar Constituency.But this fight is very tough because Ajit Pawar -led Nationalists Congress party  fielded Nawab Malik against Abu Aasim Azmi , Nawab Malik a senior politician has been three Time MLA and former Minister . Shivaji Nagar Mankhurd is Muslim Dominant area specially North Indian people has large Population.Interestingly Both Abu Aasim Azmi and Nawab Malik also belongs to North India.
