Senior IPS officer Sanjay Pandey gets his due. He replaces existing Commissioner of Police Hemant Nagrale. In a new development on Monday 28 February the Sr. IPS Officer was appointed as New Mumbai Police Commissioner.

Earlier, Pandey held the Director General of Police (DGP) post as an additional charge since April 9, 2021. He was replaced by IPS officer Rajnish Seth on February 18, 2022. Further news under way.
