Eid -Milad is very important day for Muslims all over the world this is Eid -Milad observed on 12 Rab Al awwal as per Islamic Calendar on this day Muslim across Globe celebrate Birth Anniversary of Prophet Muhammad.
To welcome the blessed month of Rabi-ul-Awwal and to express immense love towards the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) Pir Makhdoom Saheb Charitable Trust (Mahim Dargah) under the dynamic
leadership of it managing trustee Mr. Suhail Khandwani who is also a trustee of Haji Ali Dargah Trust hoisted the flag (Parcham Kushai) sending darood and salam (peace and blessings) on the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him).
The congregation started from the trust office of PMSCT comprising of Zaireans,trustees,team members
and well wishers from all cast and creed led by Mr. Suhail Khandwani under the shamiyana at 5:30 pm
on Sunday 17 th September 2023 ie 1st Rabi-ul-Awwal 1445 AH and headed towards the aastana of Hazrat Makhdoom Fakhi Ali Mahimi for the flag hoisting ceremony.
The hoisting of the flag indicates the beginning of the blessed month of Rabi-ul-awwal. The entire aasatan of the holy saint was glittering with amazing lighting effects and in the background duffs were
played giving a feeling of spiritual alienation. The beats of the nagara of the dargah added to the joyful
environment.
Then Mr. Khandwani along with all congregation proceeded to present a chadar to the holy saint Hazrat
Makhdoom Fakhi Ali Mahimi and seek his blessings for the entire nation and humanity.
The guest were served with snacks and tea. The entire atmosphere was full of joy and peace. In a very unique way mahim dargah welcome the blessed month in which the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) was born displaying ultimate love and respect for him. Later on Mr. Suhail Khandwani also informed the press that he and his team are also planning to visit the gates and the stalls being put up in and around Mumbai and present them a certificate of appreciation, a memento and a flag to acknowledge their commitment towards the celebrations of 1498th Eid-Milad-Un-Nabi (peace be upon him) 2023. Also Mr. Khandwani is going to visit various hospitals on the day of Eid-Milad 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal and
distribute fruits and stuff to the patients in various hospitals sharing the joy of the birth day of holy Prophet (peace be upon him). It was also informed that on the day of Eid-Milad at the dargah a special ziyarat of tabrukat of Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) shall be kept for 5:15 am to 7:45 am and it will.
This Flag hoisting ceremony was attended by Muslim religious leaders like Saeed Noori chief of Raza Academy and people from Maharashtra and other part of India participated this Flag hoisting ceremony and took blessed of Makhdoom Shah Baba.
