Nitin Gadkari’s National Level Nav Bharatiya Shiv Vahtuk Sanghatana – A big blow to Shiv Sena!
With Lok Sabha elections round the corner, the tiff between Shiv Sena and BJP continues to boil. On Sunday, Union Transport Minister and Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Nitin Gadkari attended a programme at Shanmukhananda Hall in Mumbai to launch BJP-affiliated National Level transport union Nav Bharatiya Shiv Vahtuk Sanghatana. The function was organised by Haji Arafat (President of the Minoritie’s Commission and The Chief of Nav Bharatiya Shiv Vahtuk Sanghatana), Vinod Tawde (Education Minister), Ashish Shelar ( BJP President of Mumbai Pradesh), Amar Sable (MP) and MLA Captain Tamil Selvan.
Speaking on the occasion Nitin Gadkari informed that to make transport safe, profitable and to reduce pollution, BJP is using the latest technology and has introduced sea route in Mumbai. The huge 7.5 lakh membership Nav Bharatiya Shiv Vahtuk Sanghatana under the leadership of Haji Arafat, who recently joined BJP is a huge bonus to the BJP Party and shall prove a big blow to Shiv Sena.
Haji Arafat addressing the gathering said, “I have been fighting for the rights of the Vahtuk Sanghatana in Mumbai for the last many years . Now I am fighting in present and shall continue to find in future too.” Going down memory lane, Haji said, “My dedication to Vahtuk Sanghatana can be gauged from the fact that when my father was on death bead and breathing his last, I was fighting for the rights of the workers at Taj Mahal hotel! Today also the situation is the same. Our family Peer Baba Makhmali has breathed his last. His last cremation rights are yet to be done but instead of being present over there, I am here with my dear Nav Bharatiya Shiv Vahtuk Sanghatana. I promise to keep the same dedication and keep the flame of Vahtuk Sanghatana alive.”
The event was full packed with several rickshaws, taxi, tempo and truck owners attending the event. The main highlight of the function was that , Bollywood actress Isha Koppikar also joined BJP and appointed Head of Ladies wing ,of Nav Bhartiya Shiv Vahtuk Sanghatan in the presence of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari.
