India’s most celebrated classical musician and Tabla maestro Zakir Hussain died due to long illness and heart related problems in San Francisco USA.
The 73 -year old classic musician was admitted to a hospital in San Francisco for the last two weeks. Zakir Hussain was the eldest son of legendary tabla player Allah Rakha he has followed his father and choose this profession, he honoured with many prestigious award.
He received Padmashri in 1988,Padma Bhushan in 2022 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2023.
