Top BJP leaders try to woo Uttar Bhartiya in Mumbai on Uttar Pradesh Diwas
The 31st Uttar Pradesh Diwas was celebrated in Mumbai at Santacruz West with pomp and spectacle. With Lok Sabha election around the corner, the BJP General Secretary Amarjit Mishar who organized the Uttar Pradesh Diwas in Mumbai tried to woo the North Indian of Mumbai. The event was attended by top BJP leaders like Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Mumbai BJP Legislator Ashish Shelar, UP Governor Ram Naik and the superstar of Bhojpuri films, Ravi Kishan.



Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis wooed Mumbai North Indian saying, “Uttar Pradesh doesn’t celebrate Uttar Pradesh Diwas but we Mumbaikar are celebrating the diwas for last 30 years. Maharashtra shares a strong bond with North Indians as North Indians are staying in India for three generations. Hence we share a sweet bound like sugar mixed into milk.”

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath said there is no place for anyone who divided the people of the country. Leading under PM Narendra Modi there should be “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat”, this is a motto of the country. Adityanath said Maharashtra was the land of stalwarts like Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Veer Savarkar and Dr B R Ambedkar.



Ashish Shelar on the occasion said, “This is a land of Shivaji Maharaj, the brave King of Maharashtra who ensured Swaraj, Safety, National Security, and Cultural Security of the country.” He added, “Like Ganga and Godavari, Mr. Yogi Adityanath and Fadnavis share a common goal “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat”.
