Renowned celebrities came together in Bandra to support Ashish Shelar

*The artists participated in the campaign rally and wished him for his triumph*

Renowned celebrities came together to support Mumbai BJP president MLA Adv. Ashish Shelar in Bandra on Monday. Veteran artists, both from the Marathi and Hindi industry, participated in the campaign rally for Shelar and wished him for his triumph.

The ‘backstage artist’, who lead a hand-to-mouth life, suffered a lot during the Corona pandemic period. Mumbai BJP president MLA Adv. Ashish Shelar, who appreciates different forms of art and is empathetic towards the artists, stood behind these ‘backstage artists’ during this difficult period. And hence, to express their gratitude towards him, eminent artists from Marathi and Hindi entertainment industry came together to campaign for him.

The campaign started at 10 am from Highlife Mall in Santacruz West of Bandra West Assembly constituency on Monday. It travelled from Khotwadi, Sambhaji Maidan, Garodia Nagar, Milan Subway Road, Sane Guruji Road, Daulat Nagar, Shastri Nagar, Old Police Quarter, Juhu Road, SB Patil Marg, Gazdar Bandh, Siddhivinayak Mandir, Maruaai Mandir, Shankar Vyayamshala, Dandpada Naka, CD Marg, Danda Naka all the way to Shri Ram Mandir Road.

Leaders and actors share a unique bond. Adv. Ashish Shelar had reached out to the backstage artists who were in dire need of help during the Corona pandemic period. He also shares a special bond with Hon’ble Ashatai and all other artists and hence, we all look up to him as our leader, said actor Abhijit Khandkekar. People have already lauded Ashish ji’s contributions. He has been the elected representative for the last two terms and I am confident of his hat-trick, said actor Sachit Patil.

Veteran singer Pt. Suresh Wadkar said, Ashish Shelar is a younger brother to me. I am seeing him since his early days. I have witnessed the hard work he has put in for the development of Bandra. And hence, I have absolutely no doubts about his victory. “We need an educated and cultured leader like Adv. Ashish Shelar,” said actor Sharad Ponkshe.
