Bollywood producer Firoz Nadiadwala’s wife Shabana Saeed was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Sunday after investigators found 10 grams of marijuana at their home in Mumbai during a raid, officials said.
NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede Confirmed the news.
Mumbai: After questioning filmmaker Firoz Nadiadwala in connection with drugs found in his
Barkat Bungalow, Gulmohar Cross Road, No. 05, JVPD Scheme, Juhu Mumbai, NCB, today arrested his wife Shabana Saeed after issuance of notice u/s 67 of NDPS Act and after recording her statement.
On a search operation of the bungalow, 10 gm of Ganja procured from accused Wahid Abdul kadir Sheikh @ Sultan was recovered. The said Shabana Saeed was issued notice u/s 67 of NDPS Act and after recording her statement, she was placed under arrest on 08.11.2020.
This comes amid a follow up Operation in connection with NCB Cr No. 32/2020 wherein a a total of 717.1 gm of Ganja, 74.1 gm charas & 95.1 gm MD (Commercial Quantity) has been seized till now along with INR 3,58,610/- and total 04 persons have been arrested. and searched her house in presence of two independent witnesses.
Further investigation is under process.
