Mumbai: Jai Hind College witnessed an energetic and vibrant atmosphere on 28th November 2025, as the campus hosted its fashion show as part of the 12th edition of its annual festival. The fashion show, a key segment of the college’s annual festival Hojamalo, brought together participants from many colleges across Mumbai, making it a citywide youth gathering.

Students showcased a variety of themes blending traditional Sindhi style with ramp walk presentations, which were appreciated by the audience and jury. The presence of supermodel Karan Oberoi as the chief judge drew strong excitement among the students. Many were awestruck to host Oberoi on their campus, and several students were heard cheering and calling out his name as he was honoured on stage.

Students were seen taking selfies with Karan Oberoi, one of the prominent male models, capturing the moment along with their friends and team members. The enthusiastic response added to the lively atmosphere of the evening. The model’s work journey in fitness and fashion modelling has been inspiring countless newcomers. Over the years, he has walked for leading designers like Varun Bahl and Karan Johar’s designer label, Ujjwal Dubey, Sanjay Hingu, Rohit Bal, and many others at fashion weeks. He has also been the face of major brands including Royal Enfield and Fashion Big Bazaar, and has worked with ace photographers like Dabboo Ratnani.

The fashion show marked a successful cultural event for Jai Hind College, offering young models and performers a platform to showcase their creativity while strengthening the college’s tradition of encouraging co-curricular talent.
