Congress releases a final list of candidates for BMC Elections.

After huge Russel and fight within the party, Mumbai congress finally announced names of 227 candidates for 2017 BMC Elections. The drama between Mumbai chief Sanjay Nirupams supporters and Ex MP Gurudas Kamats supporters took an ugly turn on Friday.

This time congress is contesting the Elections alone without any alliance partner. Congress Party saw many leaders and workers leaving the party and protesting against their seniors for unfair ticket distributions. senior and loyal party workers were ignored and newcomers were given importance.

In this BMC Elections MIM is the biggest threat for Congress party as it is believed that Minority community voters will prefer MIM over congress.It will be a very big challenge for congress party to win back the trust of minority voters.
