In recognition of her significant contribution to the MSME ecosystem and women entrepreneurship, Renowned MSME Transformation specialist Darshana Thakkar was invited by the Government of Gujarat as a distinguished speaker at the ‘Sashakt Udyogini Samvad’, a flagship session of the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference – Central Gujarat 2026, held in Vadodara.

Darshana Thakkar is the Founder of Transformation – The Strategy HUB and National President – Entrepreneurship Development Council, Women Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (WICCI). With over 28 years of industrial experience, she has been actively transforming MSMEs through strategic business consulting, operational excellence, digital transformation, leadership development, and sustainable growth initiatives.

At the Sashakt Udyogini Samvad, she joined an eminent panel of industry leaders and policymakers to discuss strategies for strengthening women-led enterprises through innovation, entrepreneurship, leadership, financial inclusion, mentorship, and ecosystem development. She shared practical insights on enhancing the competitiveness of MSMEs and enabling women entrepreneurs to build resilient, growth-oriented businesses.
Adding another feather to WICCI’s cap, the Government of Gujarat also allotted a complimentary exhibition stall to the Women Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (WICCI) at the Vibrant Gujarat Exhibition, acknowledging the Chamber’s dedicated efforts in promoting women entrepreneurship across the country.

The exhibition, held from 29 June to 3 July 2026, attracted thousands of entrepreneurs, professionals, students, industry representatives, and aspiring business owners. The WICCI pavilion emerged as a vibrant networking and information centre, where visitors received guidance on entrepreneurship, business networking, leadership opportunities, government schemes, mentorship, and the Chamber’s national initiatives.
WICCI is India’s only national chamber exclusively dedicated to women, with councils and chapters across the country. The organization works to empower women entrepreneurs, professionals, and business leaders by creating opportunities for networking, leadership development, policy advocacy, mentoring, skill enhancement, and business growth.

As National President – Entrepreneurship Development Council, Darshana Thakkar is leading several national initiatives aimed at strengthening entrepreneurship, supporting women-led enterprises, and fostering collaboration between industry, academia, financial institutions, and government bodies.
