The Maharashtra Anti Corruption Bureau of Palghar District registered an FIR against Sandeep Choure,the forest circle officer Mandvi range and two others in Palghar for allegedly demanding a Rs 20 lakh bribe for helping a local villager get back his land taken over in 2005 by Sanjay Gandhi National park authorities.
As bribe deal confirmed by accused Two private persons mediators and forest officer Sandeep Choure were Supposed came to vasai East to collect the first installment of bribe Rs 10,000 lacs but Sandeep Choure didn’t came collect the money.

As they felt some thing suspicious All accused fled from the scene ACB seized a Car belonging to another Accused Chandrkant patil from the location where trap was set up.
After this ACB Conducted a Search operation at Sandeep Choure’s rented flat and found Rs 1.31.96000 cash, Gold ornaments of 57 tolas and documents to flats Khandala,Beed and Navi Mumbai. A service revolver and live cartridges were also recovered during the search operation.
As per Press release issue by ACB,” we have booked all three accused under ACB Act but no arrest has made so far yet our investigation is underway”.
