Major Set back for Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh. On Monday Bombay High court ordered a CBI inquiry into the corruption allegation against him by former Mumbai police commissioner Parambir Singh. After this Anil Deshmukh on monday resigned as Maharashtra Home Minister.
Ncp Spokesperson Nawab Malik confirmed, “After the Bombay High Court order Mr Deshmukh expressed desire to step down, Deshmukh offered the resignation letter to NCP chief Sharad Pawar who gave concern”.
