On Thursday a Beti Bachao Beti Padhao bike rally was organized under the Mumbai police- Zone 1 .in this  bike rally Women cops from Dongri Police Station and JJ Marg Police station were participated.

Women officers were participated in large numbers, in the public awareness campaign, including Bike rally in South Mumba

Assistant Commissioner of Police Dongri Division Tanvir Shaikh  Says,”   “Around 80 to 90 women officers and police personnel participated in the bike rally from Dongri Police station and JJ Marg Police station Slogans such as Beti Bachao Beti Padhao”,(‘Save the daughter, educate the daughter,’ ‘) An educated girl leads to progress,’  ‘The education of a girl is a sign of progress,’ and ‘Feticide is a crime under the law’ were chanted during the rally.”

” Mumbai police always support to women empowerment in our Department we have so many female cops who always support to female victims when they come to police station with their grievances through this bike rally we want to creat awareness among the people importance of women’s Education,” said ACP Tanveer Shaikh Of Dongri Division.

This bike rally started from Dongari Police station and Covered Dongri Chaar Null, Noor Aug,JJ Junction,Bhendibazaar Signal and ended at Dongri Police station.

This is not the first time Mumbai Police organised Such type of campaign, Mumbai Police always organise different Programmes, Campaign related to ‘Women Safety etc.
