Jay Dudhane, winner of Bigg Boss Marathi Season 3, was arrested by the Thane Police at Mumbai Airport in connection with an alleged ₹5 crore fraud case, officials confirmed on Tuesday.
Dudhane, a well-known fitness trainer, athlete, model, and aspiring actor, hails from Thane and is also a gym entrepreneur. He got fame after winning the popular reality television show and has since built a strong presence in the fitness and entertainment industry.
According to the police, Jay Dudhane is accused of forging documents and allegedly selling the same commercial shops to multiple buyers, resulting in significant financial losses to several individuals. The complaint suggests that the alleged fraud involved deceptive property transactions carried out over a period of time.
The First Information Report (FIR) in the case names Jay Dudhane and his family members as accused, including his grandfather, grandmother, mother, and sister. Police officials stated that their roles are being examined as part of the ongoing investigation.
Authorities have confirmed that further investigation is in progress, and more details are expected to emerge as the probe continues. Police have not yet disclosed additional information regarding the total number of complainants or the timeline of the alleged offences.
