Fake medical certificates racket busted! Senior Doctor held!
Senior Dr. Rakesh Duggal, the owner of Dattaraya Nursing Home in Santa Cruz has been arrested by the Mumbai Crime Branch for issuing fake medical certificates for the LIC policy holders and cheating LIC. Along with Dr. Rakesh Duggal the police have also arrested Kishore Sakpal the technician who was instrumental in making the fake certificates.
PI Arun Pokharkar informed media, “We had received several complaints about Dr. Rakesh Duggal conducting the bogus medical test and issuing Fake Medical Certificates to people who sought false medical certificates for their LIC policies.” He added, “When we raided Dattaraya Nursing Home we caught red-handed a technician Kishore Sakpal stamping the fake medical certificates. Out team sized 14 bogus rubber stamps of various nursing home and doctors. We also found 11 LIC policies and medical test reports”
