Lights, cameras and cricket the Big Cricket League (BCL) is ready to return in style. The world’s first Pro–Am cricket league will stage its much-anticipated Season 2 from March 11 to March 22, 2026, at the Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Stadium in Greater Noida, promising a high-voltage mix of international stardom and rising Indian talent.
After an impressive debut season that drew attention for its unique format and star presence, BCL is back bigger, sharper and more ambitious.

What makes BCL stand apart in India’s packed cricket calendar is its glamorous yet grounded Pro–Am format. Here, established international cricketers share the field and the spotlight with ambitious amateur players hungry to prove themselves.
Season 1 featured globally recognised names such as Shikhar Dhawan, Suresh Raina, Irfan Pathan, Yusuf Pathan, Herschelle Gibbs and Imran Tahir. Their participation brought instant credibility and buzz, with packed stands and intense contests making headlines.
Season 2 is expected to raise the glamour quotient even further, with more international cricketers likely to join the action, promising sharper rivalries, bigger crowds and a grander cricketing showcase.
Auction Day: The Real Drama Begins
Before the first ball is bowled, the drama unfolds at the player auction on February 16. Franchises will carefully craft their squads, blending international pedigree with fearless amateur talent.

The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) is supporting Season 2, with extensive preparations underway to ensure smooth execution of the tournament.

Hosting Big Cricket League Season 2 at Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Stadium is a significant step toward positioning the city as a leading sports destination in the region.”

League Commissioner Dilip Vengsarkar highlighted the broader ambition behind the league.

As the world’s first Pro-Am cricket league, BCL is committed to building a professional platform where emerging amateur talent competes alongside established international cricketers. Uttar Pradesh’s strong focus on developing world-class sports infrastructure provides the ideal environment for this vision to thrive. Through this season, we aim to further strengthen the pathway for aspiring cricketers across the state turning ‘Ab Sapne Banenge Haqeeqat’ into a tangible opportunity on the field.”
Founder and President Rudra Pratap Singh described Season 2 as a defining milestone.

Chief Patron Puneet Singh emphasised the league’s evolution.
“The response to Season 1 validated our model. Season 2 is not just an expansion it is an evolution. From the player auction on 16th February to the grand matches in March, every aspect of this season has been strategically elevated to deliver scale, quality, and impact.”
CEO and Co-Founder Annirudh Chauhan underlined the long-term roadmap.
