Government Order

To provide postings by promotion/transfer to the rank of Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), the following Indian Police Service (IPS) officers are hereby promoted/transferred from their current postings to their new designated postings, in accordance with the provisions of Section 22N of the Maharashtra Police Act (1951):

The Home Department of the Government of Maharashtra has announced a significant restructuring, releasing a revised deployment list for 25 IPS officers. Notably, the prior assignment orders for DCP Akbar Pathan, Mahesh Patil, and Pravin Padwal stand revoked, and all three officers have been allocated new postings.
