IAS Kanhuraj Bagate Appointed Joint Managing Director of MSEDCL in Kalyan

Kalyan: In a recent administrative development, IAS officer Kanhuraj Bagate has been appointed as the Joint Managing Director of the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL), commonly known as Mahadiscom, in Kalyan.
Bagate, a member of the Indian Administrative Service, will take on the new role as part of the state government’s ongoing bureaucratic reshuffle aimed at strengthening governance and improving operational efficiency across key departments.
MSEDCL, one of India’s largest power distribution companies, plays a crucial role in supplying electricity across Maharashtra. The appointment of Bagate is expected to enhance administrative coordination and boost service delivery in the Kalyan region.

Brief Introduction 

Kanhuraj H Bagate, born on August 3, 1967, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2011 batch, Maharashtra cadre. He is currently serving as the Joint Managing Director at Kalyan in the MAHADISCOM department. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Director, Joint Secretary, and Managing Director. Mr. Bagate continues to contribute to the administrative framework within his cadre and department.
