On Tuesday night Daharavi residents protested

at shahungar Police station  after the death of a  38-year-old   rape accused Surendra Parcha when a police team was chasing him.

According to the reports , Surendra Parcha was wanted in Rape and Kidnaping case Police got a tip off he was in the area ,Police laid a team and chased him ,he ran away and collapsed , Police taken to him hospital where he declared death before admission .

After this incident Locals cornered the Police Station and demanded punish the Cop who arrested Surandra pracha , DCP Niyati Thaker Dave  reached on the spot on Tuesday night and suspended the cop ,and transfered the case to Crime branch .
