The Sikh Community brought in the 550th birthday of their revered Guruji Guru Nanak Devji. The blissful Darshan for the Guruji’s sacred Padukas (footwear) was arranged by the community along with Shiromani Gurudwara Parbhandhak Committee (SGPC) which made its journey all the way from Gurudwara Nankana Sahib Pakistan. Reportedly, the Padukas and the Guru Granth Sahib will be covering 5 Takhts and 65 holy destinations across India. GS Bawa, Chairman of the Khalsa College ensured that the Palki of Guru Nanak Ji is accorded a rousing welcome when it passed by his Hotel Bawa Suites at Khar.
