Mumbai: .Mumbai Lions Club 3231A1 and Tarachand Hospital takes enormous initiative to fight COVID-19
Mumbai: Mumbai Lions Club 3231A1 took a great initiative by donating 5 , 000 PPE kits , N95 Mask and sanitizers to the public hospital, doctors and nurses
Subsequently, they organised a social distancing event in Sion in which all Dean’s and HOD of all hospitals were present .
While speaking with ‘ Hello Mumbai News ‘ over Phone , Mr .Ashok Mehta Past President, Lion International confirmed this news and said , ” we have donated one thousand Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) ,Mask wear and other items to doctors and nurses attached to public hospitals like Rajawadi Hospital, Nair Hospital, St.George Hospital, Wadia Hospital, Sion Hospital, KEM Hospital.
In the next two to three days, they plan to donate 5,000 PPE among them( Doctors and Nurses).
The project was executed under Lions Club 3231A1 Tarachand Hospital .All those present at the occasion appreciated their initative.
Also present were Dr.Bharat Pathak , Chetna Jhaveri, President Lions Club of Sion , Dr.Shahid Siddiqui and others.
While speaking with ‘Hello Mumbai News ‘ Mr.Kamlesh Dalaal District Governor of Lions Club 3231A1, said , ” We are doing our charity work right from day 1 when lockdown came into force. We we are doing all this merely to serve the people in need”.
“As per requirements, we are distributing Food packets , Medicines ,Masks, Sanitizers, PPE and many other useful things among the people”.
“We are getting good donations from our donors and our Head office , all our Clubs involved in this charitable activities”.
Mr Kamlesh Dalaal further said , “our charity work will continue in future also. I


also appeal to all to please follow the lockdown norms and co-operate with the police”.
