Mumbai Police confident of ‘Tracing’ Dr. Irfan Matihat who went missing on Saturday!
Mumbai: The mysterious ‘Missing’ of South Mumbai based renowned Dr. Irfan Matihat has created ripples in South Mumbai as Dr. Irfan was a celebrated figure and was famous for his Dialysis center at Pydhonie. On Saturday 25 August Dr. Irfan left his home early in the morning leaving a ‘note’. Since then he is not traceable despite his Missing News and his picture has gone viral on the social media.
Investigating the case Hello Mumbai met Mr. Shirish Gaikwad, Senior Police Inspector of JJ Marg, who in an exclusive interview told Hello Mumbai, “I have personally met Dr. Irfan’s family and taken note of their grievances’. I have even recorded the statements of the eyewitness who saw him the last time. There is no need to panic as we are doing our best to trace him.” He added, “We have set-up a special team of officers who are working round the clock to hunt Dr. Irfan.”
Shedding light on Dr. Irfan’s mysterious missing Senior Police Inspector Shirish Gaikwad said, “In our investigation, we have found that Dr. Irfan was under extreme financial burden. As a result, he had slipped into depression hence probably to escape mental trauma he might have taken the extreme step.”
On quizzing what makes the police suspect that Dr. Irfan might have taken a harsh step Gaikwad said, “We have recovered a note from his house in which he has mentioned that his family must not be harassed. In addition, he has also apologized to all the people whom he had disheartened.”
Gaikwad informed, “We have last spotted Dr. Irfan at Wadi Bunder on Saturday Night at 9 PM. Our team is working and we are confident we will trace him “.
