Mumbai City is ready to Welcome new year 2025.The year 2024 is about to end and the end of year festivities activities, Parties have begun. A head of the New year Celebration on 31 st December. Mumbai Traffic Police has issued Traffic advisory for Motorists in Bandra West and Worli Sea Face area .All details is here.
As per the Notification issued by Mumbai Traffic Police, On the Occasion of New year Celebration at Bandra Reclamation, K.C.C .Road and Carter Road More Crowd and heavy traffic jaam is expected in these areas.
To avoid Traffic Jaam Below are the Guidelines for Motorists.

In  view of the expected heavy gathering of Mumbaikars at Worli Sea Face and beach to welcome the New Year on 31st December 2024, it has been observed that a large number of vehicles are likely to park on Khan Abdul Gaffar Khan Marg, Dr. Annie Besant Road, and R.G. Thadani Marg in Worli, potentially causing severe traffic congestion and inconvenience to the citizens.

No Parking Zone’ temporarily on the New Year Eve.
All types of vehicles between Khan Abdul Gaffar Khan Junction (Mela Junction) to J.K. Kapur Junction are not allowed to park their vehicles on North and South bounds, As per Mumbai Traffic Police advisory.

The following route was being temporarily declared as a ‘No Parking Zone’ from 00.01 on 31/12/2024 to 08.00 on 01/01/2025.

Khan Abdul Gaffar Khan Road: All types of vehicles between Khan Abdul Gaffar Khan Junction (Mela Junction) to J.K. Kapur Junction are prohibited to park their vehicles on North and South bounds.

R.G. Thadani Road: All types of vehicles Bindu Madhav Thackeray Junction and Flora Junction are not allowed to park their vehicles on North and South bounds.

Bandra West Traffic Advisory 

NO PARKING ROAD

Carter Road:- Parking of all types of vehicles (except emergency service vehicles) on both the North and South bound of Carter Road from Otters Club to Café Coffee Day is prohibited.
K.C. Marg:- K.C. Marg road is from Reclamation Best Bus Depot upto MSRDC all types of vehicles (except emergency service vehicles) on North and South bounds roads parking of vehicles is prohibited.

No Entry Road
Alternate Route:- Reclamation Road South bound from Zenda Point, taking a left turn towards MSRDC will remain No Entry.
NO ENTRY ROAD:- Vehicles going towards MSRDC by taking left turn from Reclamation Road, Zenda Point will go straight ahead take a U-turn before Toll Plaza and go on the North bound then take a left turn to proceed towards MSRDC.
