Thane Deputy Municipal Commissioner Shankar Patole and two others were remanded to Police Custody till 4th October by Local Court on Thursday.
On Wednesday Deputy Municipal Commissioner ( Encroachment) Shankar Patole Omkar Gaikar and others were arrested by Anti Corruption Bureau while accepting Rs 25 lakh bribery amount.
The raid Carried out of Anti Corruption Bureau at Thane Civic The trap was successfully conducted by Addl.SP Rajendra Sangle and his team. at 6:50 PM Thane Civic Office.

Thane Deputy Municipal Commissioner Shankar Patole (Encroachment Department) has been detained by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for allegedly accepting a bribe of ₹35 lakh. He had already accepted ₹10 lakh earlier from Abhiraj Developers proprietor Abhijit Kadam, and was caught red-handed while accepting ₹25 lakh .
