In a recent administrative reshuffle by the Maharashtra government, Varsha Thakur-Ghuge (IAS:SCS:2011), who was serving as the Collector of Latur, has been appointed as the Joint Chief Executive Officer of the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) in Mumbai.
Thakur-Ghuge, known for her administrative experience and governance work at the district level, will now take on a key role in the state’s industrial development body. The MIDC plays a crucial role in promoting industrial growth, infrastructure development, and investment facilitation across Maharashtra.

Her transfer is part of a broader bureaucratic reshuffle aimed at strengthening governance and accelerating development initiatives across the state.
