Maharashtra Govt Appoints New Municipal Commissioner for Jalna

Mumbai, April 2: The Maharashtra Government recently has issued an official transferred order of 25 IAS officers. Among them 8 Women Ias officers also got new posting.
As per the notification released by the General Administration Department, Smt. Anjali Sharma (IAS) has been appointed as the Municipal Commissioner of Jalna Municipal Corporation. The post had been lying vacant prior to this appointment.
The order further directs Sharma to take charge of her new position from Shri Ashish Mitra, who is currently serving as the District Collector of Jalna, and complete all formalities related to the transition of responsibilities.
Officials have been instructed to ensure a smooth handover process and update all relevant administrative records, including entries in the government’s official systems. The directive also emphasizes timely compliance with all procedural requirements following the transfer.
The order was issued and signed by Subhash Ughadankar, Deputy Secretary, General Administration Department, Government of Maharashtra.

Brief Introduction Anjali Sharma:

Anjali Sharma, born on November 25, 1996, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2022 batch, assigned to the Maharashtra cadre. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Economics from the University of Delhi. Currently, she serves as the Assistant Collector at Nandurbar Sub Division, a position she has held since February 9, 2024. Anjali Sharma is actively engaged in her administrative duties within the state government.
