Darshana Doshi,a globe-trotter discovered platform named  Khayyal 50 above 50,  when a friend asked her to apply for  India’s largest talent hunt for 50+.
 “I thought of giving it a shot  as it seemed legit with its all-India reach, brand recognition, ₹1 crore cash prize, membership fees of ₹1000 only, and a contest judged by a  notable jury of 10 including Padma Bhushan winners ,” says  Darshana , a Lokhandwala resident who after submitting the required material, was
 nominated as one of the finalists.
“My joy knew no bound as I was selected out of thousand odd entries at all India level. And imagine my surprise when Khyaal  deposited  the promised reward amount in my  account!!
It revived my trust in awards ,”
She then adds as an after thought, ” What is more  important is the fact that Khyaal recognised my courage to travel solo in off the beaten trail, in the days when it was not common for an Indian woman to do so ,” says the woman  who has been  to 35 countries that has enhanced her world view  and
Confidence.
