In a remarkable recognition of her outstanding service and leadership, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Nighat Aman has been selected for the prestigious “100 Women of Kashmir” Award, to be conferred by the International Human Rights Organization (IHRO) on the occasion of International Women’s Day 2026.
The award ceremony will be held under the banner of Women’s World Day – WWD-2026, organized by Suraya, Saima, and Tasleema, celebrating women achievers who have made significant contributions across various sectors in Kashmir.
The 100 Women of Kashmir Award honors women who exemplify excellence, resilience, and a strong commitment to social transformation. SSP Nighat Aman’s exemplary dedication to law enforcement, community safety, and public service has distinguished her as a trailblazer and an inspiring role model for women across the region.
