On the occasion of International Women’s Day Hello Mumbai Editor-In-Chief Aleem Shaikh and Entire Team Wishes All Women Happy Women’s Day. Every year, March 8 is celebrated as International Women’s Day across the world to promote women’s rights and honour their achievements across the political, economic, social and cultural spheres. This day is a reminder of the grit and determination of women all across the world. There is no force more powerful than a woman’s determination to rise.

Let us introduce you to Sharmila Sahasrabudhe a dynamic police officer who has been successfully managing her professional as well as personal life. Such officers are an inspiration to the youth who needs motivation to join civil forces.
Sharmila who is currently working in Cyber crime Branch for the last 7 years at BKC she had joined police force in the year 1995. In her journey of more than 28 years she has convicted many criminals in Murder, rape and property offence case.

When asked about how she manages her personal and profession life she said, Time management is a key to balance it. According to her if a woman is passionate about working in police force only then they should join if you have other priorities then stay away from it. Sharmila never faced any difficulties as she was very much clear about her priorities.

Not only this she celebrates achievements of ever women be it in any field. When asked about her favourite person she replied, any person who achieves anything for India becomes her favourite.

Her main Motto is to make a disciplined India where people follow rules specially Traffic and noise.
When asked about equality she said Boys/Gents need to be taught to cook, cleaning etc household stuff is not only the duty of women/girl equality before law means equal rights.

During her career working in cyber cell she has busted big Online fraud racket and she has been part of many big opration including  big online fraud because of her good network and dedication towards her work Senior police officers of Mumbai police trust in her. She has good quality to manage her team bt nature very shy but support to everyone and take every issue very serious.
